Purple?
Oh, no. This can't be happening. Dear God, please!
Most of you probably think my background is purple. Because, yes. It looks purple on the monitor I'm using right now (which is a) not an LCD screen and b) about ten years old.)
Please tell me it's just plain old serendipitous light-blue, a color to calm you and make you stay, not turn up your lip because you think I'm gay.
Because I'm not. (Yeah, I heard about Tinky Winky). It's NOT SUPPOSED TO LOOK PURPLE!

Adam, Adam, Adam, everyone who has read your journal knows you have a girlfriend and even if you were gay, so is Elton John and it hasn't hurt his career.
As for Tinky-Winky, it also had a masculine voice and carried a handbag. Purple is considered to be the color of royalty. Hawkeye in MASH wore a purple robe and made reference to the color of royalty in one episode. Northwestern and the Minnesota Vikings wear purple uniforms, they're ugly but they're not trying to make a fashion statement.
You write great stuff and people come by to read it(with the exception of that spammer) and are not looking at your color background. Keep up the good work.
By the way, I have a new computer and monitor and the background is more of a lavender.
